How to darken by Jacobean dark oak

Very simple to apply with a consistent finish. My only suggested improvement would be a brief instruction on the tin as to how a darker tint is achieved. Can you simply apply more once coats once the previous one is dry? I'm using this on a customers pine cabinet. The retailer had a sample on a piece of oak which I have explained will in itself give a darker finish. This is the first time I have used your dye do some guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Finish remains sticky/tacky by Danish Oil Concerns

I have had fitted a new kitchen with strip-wood worktops. I was advised by the fitters to use Danish Oil and subsequently purchased some Colron Refined Danish Oil. I used it according to instructions and expected a reasonable finish. However, after three days the finish remains still sticky/tacky although it is gradually improving but appears it will take a long time. Am I doing something wrong or expecting too much? I cannot find a specific "How To" guide for Danish Oil!
